Was there something like an Update or other install that caused this? If so see if you can System Restore to a point before the problem began following this guide. And if that doesn't help then try Uninstall Driver, restart PC to reinstall it. If that doesn't help then try Roll Back driver, if available.

If that doesn't work then try Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Pick to try all previously installed drivers for one that is stable - these even survive Version Updates. Open the controller in Device Manager, try Updating driver, then Automatically.
